| K'lik Slotted plate construction system |
|
This slotted plate prototyping system is used commercially to
accelerate the design and development of several types of product.
Consisting of just four parts, this system is now available to schools (and the public)
as a re-usable or consumable resource for 'rapid prototyping' and testing ideas.
The tough polypropylene parts can either be slotted together or fastened with 4mm screws
and nuts to create box sections, frames, mechanical assemblies, etc.
The hole spacing corresponds to the base of our
'Clunk Click' gearbox
,
enabling very rapid construction of powered mechanical vehicles, automata, robots, etc.
The system parts can be cut if necessary and used in association with other
construction systems or sheet metals and plastics. |
